Yes this was indeed a fashion shoot. I am currently fortunate enough to be shadowing a student photographer whenever he is using the faculty's studios. However, i am not a fan of studio photography especially with plain backgrounds, so while He was shooting Fashion [haute couture] Photographs for his portfolio, i shot mine with the idea of turning the images slightly towards Fine Art still with a tint of fashion.

Also not a great fan of studio work. I like the technical aspects of light and lighting, but more often than not great studio shots are 90% stylists and MUA, setting the tone, and then once the lighting is 'created' ... the photographer finishes things off.
I prefer the chaos of the real world, and the image of the moment ...
But ... I appreciate good studio shots!
