Today, I learnt something totally new two my scope of knowledge about 'Leadership' - from a drunk nogal.

(And...when did we ever stop calling them drunkards ?)

It goes something like this:

"A leader leads ("lives") an idea (not followers) - and that's why it's called an ideal. If people like the idea they will follow it. People I led by ideas of people who've long died..." - Khori Radebe.

i dig it too man, uh, but 'our father' doesn't allow us to [love] our own pics!

i think this calls for a "love thy self" revolution...

... it is assumed by sharing your photograph(s) with us, you are inherently so in love with it(them) that you want to share it (them)...

    sharing is caring...

Philosophy will not guarantee your absolution, young man:

People seek reassurance, vocalisation and visualisation of love (hence the red, digital heart we have here @ 75) - even when they are fully aware that they are unconditionally loved. It would seam that knowledge of love alone does not suffice. Have you heard pet owners say to their pets: "Oh, you love me don't you?". I'm not suggesting that they expect the poor pet to respond. That's foolish considering that these so called understanding pets do not even comprehend the basics of irony.

Anyway, before I loose myself... I will admit that I don't always upload pictures that I love: Pictures have feelings too you know - and want to be draped with appreciation and showered with flattery - let alone given a home (as some of my pics live like nomads, transgressing from one blog to an-other).

These are some of the reasons I share... (what are yours?)

I don't have reasons why share. 5 years ago, I had a solid answer that was: I had at the time plus-minus 500 photographs and could not find a reason why I had so many photographs and nobody had seen them.

But, now, I am in love with photography, that to define why I love and/or share them would put me and my photography in box that I will definitely be screaming to come out off within the time it takes for the shutter to close and open.

    Ja ne, ke d-i-p mos!

    Nature can be truly beautiful....

To care enuf to allow a picture to have a home, to be draped, appreciated and shared....is love.
