Hi y'all,
Recently I was invited to write for The Economist on its microsite The Unexpected.
"Expect the unexpected from The Economist."
"Expect the unexpected from Jozi."
And so I wrote about 75.co.za ... because it has and continues to be an inspiration to me ... the reason for its existance, and the energy behind its ongoing story.
You can read the post here:

What I would like to suggest, is please post a comment to this note, with an image, YOU feel highlights The Unexpected in Jozi, with a short paragraph as to WHY you've selecte the image.
I will do a follow up post on these stories, with links back to the image, and full credit.
Well done Lebogang. Well done 75.co.za ... you add something of value to my life. Let's add something more to others too.
Waddya think people?

The whole reason to be for the site is explained:
"What do you expect from The Economist? Probably great opinion pieces on the economy and political world events. And you’d be right. What you probably don’t expect however is how much else there is too. Science and technology, literature, art, society, the environment; in fact just about anything that touches and influences our world.
Something else you may find unexpected is who reads The Economist. There are quite a few examples on this site – and they all live in Jozi. They’re people with opinions and views, on the world and especially on this city that’s filled with unexpected things. Have a look and see if you agree or disagree with their opinions and add some of your own views too."
