Another heads up: Edward Ruiz Mentorship call for applications (verbatim):

It awards the recipient with the financial and infrastructural support needed to develop a substantial body of photographic work over the course of a year, culminating in a solo exhibition hosted at The Photo Workshop Gallery. The recipient also has the opportunity to work closely with a suitable mentor, who provides guidance and direction on the intended project.

A few things to note:

1. A comprehensive CV
2. An existing portfolio of 12-20 photographs (jpeg or tiff formats, 300dpi, no larger than 1024x768)
3. 500 words explaining you photographic interests and existing work
4. A 1000 word project proposal

Deadline: 31 July 2010.
