Okay, I've just added 'notes' on the home-page --- pushing the 'dialogue' a little bit lower, let me know what you think.
With that, here is Bruce Lee putting into context.

I'd like to see how everything will look if you swap the 'journal' + 'quick notes' - as in put the 'quick notes' on top.

Looks fine, but it would still look good if 'notes' were to be at the bottom of the 'dialogue'. But hey, you are the master, what do I know?

I agree Bareng --- but I think it wouldn't allow for 'sharing' --- outside of the 'journal' I'd prefer a situation that informed others of what is going on --- dialogue is cool, but dialogue comes after a photograph has been put up --- whereas notes are (in time, we hope) new information that has been shared, which I think in the future will contain things that are of interest, right now.
*but, my research (thanks to Mokokoma reminding me) shows that 3% of people use 1024px wide screens, whereas this design of the site accommodates (with limitations) 800px wide --- so I guess a 're-engineering' is on the cards to use up more real-screen-estate, type thing.
*hopes i make sense.
