If I do end up going I'm happy to give you lift. Can you get to Jozi ? You're a Pretoria girl if I remember right...

I should know by the end of tomorrow if I'm going or not.

Any other @75ers thinking of going ?

I am too broke to make up my mind.

Sorry...something has come up with work and I'm not going to be able to make this walk. Have you tried contacting the jhb-photowalkers ? Some of them may be going along. I know Mark lives in Centurion and he usually goes along.

      Sorry again...I suck I know.

      re: http://www.dzineblog360.com/2010/12/50-inspiring-examples-of-emotional-portrait-photography/

Therein lies my problem with 'studio photography' — for a specific objective/concept yeah sure studio photography is the best place to (re-)create what you want to get … but as you said: "capturing and preserving moments of real life forever" — studio photography ain't it.

Most of those photographs seem to be 'captured' (and heavily treated) to 'create' that 'emotional' response from the observer — but being that I lack emotion (yes, several women have said this to me), I wasn't moved by any o' 'em.

      *sips more water.

Ha ha ha ha ha, this kills me...ha ha ha ha, yha ne
