Connect with the city

The Marikana shack dwellers have been facing illegal evictions by the City of Cape Town since "Freedom" Day. They staged a protest at open streets for a number of reasons, one of the intentions was to show people how they are living. This woman was covered with a blanket and huddled on the ground in front of her pot.
