What Makes an Item Vintage? 

A clothing item is considered vintage if it dates from 1920 to 1960. After that date, an item is considered to be retro, not vintage.

    i dont understand either...i've resorted to calling any item retro/conceptual, just not vintage, cause in 20 years will 80's items be vintage? most probably not
