This photograph was taken on the Pangane beach, in northern Mozambique.
What caught my attention was the simple form of handmade the keel to his canoe.
The smoke tucked between his ear and head.....The shadow on the sand looks like a creature from old British folk tales.....the digital watch on his wrist.....so much detail!
Is that a shadow of your head at the bottom left corner of the photo?
hehehehehehe....
I love this one....!
lovely shot and story

palapala - your honesty in your photographs adds to their brilliance. ive constantly been in awe of your work artistically, but i also respect your ability to let the photograph speak for itself and thus allowing the subject (in a strange way) dictate the reaction of the audience (well, me). i dont know how you do it. its honest, raw and has no leading emotions, but still evokes so much appreciation, insight and awe.
@ Makahaya.
My sincere thanks by what you written.
What really look for my photography, is to freeze the moments that I find interesting and i can share with everyone.
'm Not a photographer, just a curious in the art of photography.
