The photograph was taken on the beach Pangane - Cabo Delgado.
I climbed up on the cannopy of my truck and found the neighbor's yard with this Muslim woman covered with clothes in a day of sun beats
There's something very sad about this neighnour's paradise. Maybe I'm over-reading. But that's what comes through.
NguJaz, i think it's hard to tell, because, sometimes things aren't as we think they really are.
but as you say, maybe you're over reading.
yesterday i was checking out a TED talk about how we tend to see things the way we are, not as they are.
i hope that doesn't sound corny.
alas, they say a photograph say a 1000 words, (or something to that effect) --- this one tells a million stories.
i like it.
Friend Ngujaz.
In fact I think it was your interpretation of the photograph, because it does not want to convey sadness, but in fact a intense sunny day so intense,in a beach so beautiful, watch this woman covered up to the head, trying to be faithful to their Islamic culture.
In that sense I think it sad ..
But I have all respect for any culture or religion.
i see the sun. but I also see her posture. she seems very much in a quite, private moment. maybe the word is "private" as opposed to sad
Yes i complete agree.
