@ Jeff, will tell the history of photography.
As usual go on the Christmas holidays the city of Inhambane.
On one day one of my sandals broke.
Found this on a cobbler's building from the1800 to pursue his profession.
While my sandal repaired this gentleman appeared to surrender their shoes for a small change.
While I waited I took a series of photographs in which I felt privileged to be in this place and know that person by the way, is named is Merry.
Have a beautiful day in peace.
Is shoe making a trade for young people?
Or is it that we don't see proteges because they're training.
*never a seen a young shoe maker.
amazing. reminds me of this rasta guy that used you fix my shoes when i was lila.
captured!!
Textured shot. Textured story. I love artisans who work with their hands. Its a lost art in today's world where everything is disposable.
A simple, beautiful image.
i find photographing people extremely challenging, yet your people images come across so naturally and effortlessly. care to share some tips palapala?
@Thembalezwe,i Do not think i have something particular in photographing people. I let my instincts take me for who I am taking without disturbing the person.
A point and shot, like the Canon S95 or Panasonic LX5 cameras, are small and of good quality in which you can shoot without people noticing a lot .
I think we all like to have an SLR, but also a shot and point is more practical and casual
To use on the every day bases.
I am not technician in photography or cameras, but a lover of photography.
I hope I have explained in a way you understand.
Have a nice day.
i enjoy the stories you let us in on
