Christopher Okigbo is one of the best Africa ever produced. He died in August 1968 at the war front in Nsuka fighting for the course of Biafra. Al A Mazrui's The Trial of Christopher Okigbo is an interesting interpretation of his role and death given the tribalistic nature of the fight seen in view of his universalistic artistic stance.
