Thought 1:
I wouldn't keep a cat as a pet.
however i do admire they're sense of independence (compared to other pets), agility, speed and awareness of themselves and their surroundings.
Thought/Question 2:
i wonder how certain animals were selected and conditioned to human control over the years versus those that were left for the "wild". was it a case of trial and error on our part (as in crocodiles for eg. told us where to get off when we tried to woo them into our backyard ponds so we settled for ducks instead...ok, bad e.g), or are certain animals by design more susceptible to being tamed?
any zooligists in the house?
