Okay i'm going to go out on a limb here. I recently just did my first guerrilla shoot in the streets and I'm posting this up for one purpose. I'd like to think that 75 is a great platform for 'graphers to see and comment on each others work. With that said I'd like all 75'ers to crit this pic. Please dont be shy, really, my skin is pretty thick.

I'll start it off, the ISO in this pic is too high therefore making it too grainy. That I'm aware of. Anything else? Please give any input, if you got.

If I'm not going to study this thing then I have to find out crit in any means possible. Lemme know what you think.

Holla!

this is a perfect feel good shot: the edges, her T-shirt, the girl is beautiful! was she on a trampoline?
I'm not a professional photographer so does my opinion really count? however i do like symmetry so i would crop the slanting mountain on the left. if i put my hand over it, the city landscape makes a perfect line...i'm just saying ;-)

I agree with Nina. The crop suggested just works, as the city landscape does make the perfect line.

I love the movement ... the sun on her, her T-shirt. It all works.

The one aspect that detracts is that the vignetting is a little too much for my eye. Whilst it does focus attention on the girl, it sort of 'eats' into the top half of the picture too. A little lightening of the vignette might work better. Let the sky talk a little.

Love the emotion , love the angle.

Maybe i should ask you what did you want to say or achive? if it says what you wanted to say or wanted to achive then you have struck gold.

So what did you want to say.

i'm not a photographer, so the technicalities are beyond me.
the layout is fantastic though; and it's very emotive.

I agree with Lwazi --- what be your story?

ps: I like the ISO --- generally I don't like high ISO/Grainy thing, but Rudzani is a master of it, and through that I've come to like it, albeit on other pple's 'graphs.

Wow thanks a lot errbody! Thats really the best thing I've come back to on 75 ever! I take it all very humbly and thank all who've given their opinion. If I had it my way, I'd have another section on 75 purely for critting pics and another nje to show other ish as per usual. But who am I to say anything eh.?.

Well the feel I was going for it was random, spontaneous, sneaky, youthful energy. You know, a 'girls just wana have fun' kinda thing. It actually span off of plenty other ideas and eventually landed into this. But this one of many shot on the day.

    1ove, constructive critisism
