Did my first "model" portfolio shoot the other day. Knocked it out in literally 30 mins, from set up to breakdown. Twas good, need to do more of those.
...that´s illin´ it...mmm...hehehe, i can´t stop smiling/laughing from sheer admiration/inspiration...
are you also in the light-room for your post-production? the tone is ill on this cut; dig how the patterns on the lady´s shirt contrast with the ones on the grill gate [horizontal/vertical]...
you did great duke...
peace be
*just realises that light-room is a play on dark room
K:O:E > Yup yup, lightroom is the shit! The guy who I got it from told me that it will completely change my view of digital photography. Understatement of the year!
daing!!! what i´ve seen of it is certainly dope...though not withstanding i think/feel the photographs/content on on their own, that i´ve seen are ill, before ´the room´...
a question of style and technique; on both counts i´m in awe...
ngujaz: hehehehe...your observations are intriguing...
body language is an art i think/feel, though there may be an element of vanity/narcissism perhaps when it comes to modelling, nonetheless i´m awed at that same ability you mention, of channelling expression via pose...perhaps a bit like dance, in the awareness of the body & use of it for expression...mmm...
I think that no one can become the best at anything without studying. Might not need to be in an academic way, but even instinctive and self taught photographers do their own cross referencing, within their own work and/or their influences, whatever that might be.
