I'm really digging taking portraits. Hope I can do more.

Its weird cause I was using a soft box for this and in this pic it looks like the subject is superimposed into position. Its all about the lighting ek se.  Viva lé soft box!

You know all that talk about digital photography being, not 'real' photography. Photoshopin' being 'fake' photography.

Isn't digital photo editing the successor of 'analogue' photography?

Softboxes, flash, lenses, camera types, processing styles, film types, paper types"- aren't they all altering the the photography anyway?

For example, black and white photography by definition is post-production. The world is not black and white, the world is in colour.

I do not subscribe to the notion that because somebody chooses to alter pixels over pigments is therefore not engaging in 'photography'.

I subscribe to the notion that, (although a friend o' mine: Jur'ney said this first): the art in photography is the ability to 'capture' a moment.

digital photo editing is the successor indeed of the analogue dark room process...

a lot of what photoshop, lightroom and the likes was developed from the old processes and is being taken to the next level...digitally...

that said i further concur; content is king/queen - though technique goes a long way in aiding the articulation...whether it´s using filters in the dark room or messing with the RGB in photoshop...progress...

suavé: illin´ it with these, is this for the album sleeve/inlay? meaning the album is coming out soon?

I had to Google "What is a soft box in photography?" ... LOL.

    Got the following:
