Light Bulb Moment

Light Bulb Moment

Hey errbody. I know this is incredibly short notice but for any of you 'graphers out in Cape Town, come and hang out with me cause I'm exhibiting for a day. Here are the details:

" Date: Sunday, 20 December 2009

Time: 14:00 - 18:00

Location: De Waal Park, Corner Camp & Molteno Strs, Oranjezicht

Ive finally decided to have my exhibition and I would love it if you popped by to check it out. So since on a low budget (read: no budget) I have decided to combine the exhibition with a picnic in the park. The idea is to hang my pictures from the trees in the park for your enjoyment and we can have a little picnic at the same time. So please bring your blankets, your picnic baskets with goodies of your choice, liquids of your choice and an open mind. This is going to be experimental so I hope it works out the way it should.

I know its kinda short notice but just wanted to show thanks for all who have participated and helped through the year, and get a little to' up at the same time.

As some of you know I am a guerrilla grapher and I hardly ever have permission to do shoots wherever I go, so I am taking this theme on towards the exhibition. So if worse comes to worst and it gets shut down, then at least we can enjoy a little picnic in the park. The weather will be a sunny with no wind so everything looks a go.

The Park is the one near the resevoir, up the road from the Engen Woolwoths garage. If you need any directions then just shout me a holla

Hope you can make it

It was nice to see you yesterday, although I arrived on the scene so late (crazy sunday) and could only be there for a short while, but I'm sure we'll have more opportunities to chat 1 + 1. The concept was great and it's also great to see people taking over public space like that, I feel that South Africa still lives with remnants of the apartheid era where any large congregation of people is seen as a threat to public peace.
LOL at everyone (including me) trying to catch the photos hanging from the tree to look at them...

Yeah it was awesome. LD too bad you missed it. Thanks to UP and onelove who came thru, even though I didnt get to meet onelove. It was a gret Sunday activity and I was hella suprised by the turn out. I was so scared when the cops rolled by cause I thought they were gonna shut us down. But they went by twice and they were checking out all the ladies. Thank goodness for the hotties. But overall it was dope. Cant wait till the next one
