oooo im loving this one. the ladies looked a bit suprised to be "exposed". i knew a lady once who decided to go "natural" and had been constantly braiding her hair to get rid of the straightened part. she refused for her boyfriend (who's black, but that also doesnt really matter), to see her hair out of the braids, the natural hair, whilst she was getting her hair braided and would go to great lenghts to hide when he would walk in during the session. it made me very sad, but i actually understood why on so many levels. the lady's expression in the back instantly reminded me of that, although im not assuming she's surprised-its just that quick glance.

Burning hair and product is a very specific nasal assault. Many black women won't let their men see their naturals (shoutout to ante elias). If we were as eager to rummage through the natural, maybe they'd feel more encouraged. What am I saying? Every black man knows better than to touch a sista's hurr. :-)
