What does "half frame camera" mean?

  2. Tom Stewart

Ok, so you can 2 pics here right? So it takes 72 pics on a 36 exposure film, hence half frame and not full frame ;)

  3. Nappy Head

    Half frame. I like that.

  4. Buchu

    I want one!

  5. Tom Stewart

@Buchu The Diana Mini does half frame from what i recall

@Tom ah — I think on the Diana you can 'rewind' (or it push forward) the film halfway; shot; then move onto the next one; or I think you just look at a different part of the 'film exposure count'

*I can't remember — amma sell my Diana or prolly exchange it for a Yashica(f7).

    :(

Ok cool, Matt's Diana (i think it's a Diana) has a switch for half/full frame

Yup..the diana mini does half frame shots. I haven't played with it as yet.

Great pic by the way...loving film lately :)

@ltdn do you have the Diana F (medium format) ? If so, how much would you want for it ?
Good luck trying to find a Yashica though....very hard to come by but amazing cameras. I'll keep my eyes out for you.

@matt at the same cost for a Yashica — I'll throw in all the things it came with. :-)
