    cool
The term 'Cape Flats' is still a strange 1, because it refers to all the areas btwn Athlone and Mitchel's Plain (roughly), no?
so how are people supposed to know exactly which area you are referring to? or does that not matter?

    *confused

when i was in my last year in high school loooong time ago (in 2006) -- we had a Geography teacher who taught us about the cape flats.
prior to that, i always thought it was blocks of flats -- lots of them, Like Lebogang thought ...

i've just wikipedia'd it for other people who are still unsure about it-- like i was .

    check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Flats
