I think there's a massive difference between a photograph that was (a) originally taken in black and white, and (b) a photo that was turned in black and white from color. The former always seem to display an element of originality while the latter ... umm... well doesn't. And i think I can tell the difference now.

so, what's the point? Well, I don't know -- except that I'm obsessed. lol

happy photographing.

ta is true — regardless of how much i tinker with lightroom's settings I could never get any photograph of mine to look like this: http://75.co.za/the_graduate/2010/05/17

I would also add — black & white on film, is far more superior than b&w on pixel.

    *sigh*

The only "problem" is that film is just too damn expensive...
It's for that reason I'll always be a "cheater"

    Great shot.
