Knysna Forrest

Knysna Forrest

So went for a long ass walk in the forrest, but also found this cute little picnic spot, which from the photograph you can't really see. But it's in the middle of the forrest.

There was nobody there - low season. So we had the entire place all to ourselves. And we sat for a while, my sister and I, had a cigi, took it all in, found some mushrooms, she picked a wild flower and we were off again.

It was funny cause we didn't have a guide (low season) so we did the walk on our own. The entire time we were thinking, what to do when a snake approaches - we found a stick and decided that would be our little weapon or shield or whatever. Just incase a snake approaches.

And then I asked dear sister what she'd do if I were to get poisoned. I asked if she'd suck the poison out. Hahahaha, she said no way. She'd call paramedics. I'm like we don't have signal here.

So the stick would be our only hope. Should've taken a photo of that stick. Our saving grace.

I like, the blue circle-pattern in the middle.

I'd love to see the stick, or is staff like Moses?

    Heavenly!
Mara I don't know heartwarmer; always you're teasing us with these spots "you can't really see in the photograph". I'll show you some, but not all. I'm starting to see myself in a street corner twisting your arm behind your back ala township courtship back in the day. Why o re gadisa?! Lol
    *inspects ghetto dial

Heartwarmer. Love the pic...but would have loved to have seen a pic of your saving grace too.

There is something so pure and natural about it....well barring the manmade bridge of course ; )
