i was going to make my way over there just for the exhibition, However, the 19th is a bad day for me and my friends.
( but we might take off / sick leave ) we just need to find a better excuse not pitch up for work in that week.

This is just a note to say I am still alive, I am still burning some midnite oil to get some of the ideas we have to happen, as in:
- Book
- Exhibition — 19th April (Johannesburg)
- Studio
Inasmuch as I want them to happen — I have to admit, I am already exhausted — I don't know what it is but 2011 feels like that quick brown fox and I am the dog. I think the phrase is:
… the spirit is willing but the body is spongy.
I had a conversation with Daz & Matt — Matt is going to help out with the exhibition, in fact: when the exhibition happens it will be all his doing, merci. Daz will help out with the book. I also spoke to a friend of mine who is keen to help out with the book, we are only now begining the dialogue about it. I'll fill you in as time and details emerge.
I, on the other I am trying to find a way to make all of these things (ttby, STUDIO83; SFG; B+FLY; CL; Butta; ice+blok; Marvin, Apara, Skippa et al) to be grown and sustainable. It is a demoralising new venture I am into. I am used to building and creating what needs to be done; I am not used to waiting for somebody else to allow me to do so.
It's tough — it has left me wounded — but I am sure a quick trip to the good coast of hope might rejuvinate the spirit. I will keep you posted as things happen, more regularly than I have been in the past.

The last time we spoke of this i volunteered my studio as space for our regular meets and Exhibition, Matt and a few other graphers know it, so i await an inbox from Matt. We can discuss availability and financing if need be.
Book, who is designing the book, some of us do that sort of thing for a living, we could contribute, Daz, lets chat some more. In any case, let us know how else we can push this project further and make it happen.
Karabo was/is willing to donate his iMac (Myself too) if we meed to seat one weekend and put some ideas down.

Its okay hombre — handling yours is very paramount.
I am also trying to shift the furniture around. Alas, I doubt the exhibition will happen on the 19th April. But, that is okay with me — our collective daily contribution of photography is exactly what a 'living' exhibition is about.
It would be great to have one — but we don't have to die for something that we already invest our minds, hearts and soul to everyday, one photograph at a time.
