WOW! What Was That?
an article.Hello,
I woke up today with the server not available, around 11am. Did what every support team would do:
- ran: ping 75.co.za
- then searched twitter.
It appears, the people we get our server housed by, Hetzner, had a power outage and a their backup generators ran out of diesel too.
So, that slight 75 is down was attributed to that — I think we should be okay, I will monitor it still. Any changes will be expressed through these mediums:
- Facebook Page and
Sorry, for the interruption —

Actually, at 2pm — I saw a notification email that was sent at 11, when the server went down.
Caveat: I sleep around 4/5/6 am.
