We love trees. No such thing as too many. Too few in fact. I like this new experimental stuff you're doing :)

Too nice Matt, really majestic reflection.

    Thanks all...

@palapala I completely agree...I'm still not quite happy with the color. Not entirely sure how to get the colors I want though.

This is what I'm aiming for.

    @ Matt, good afternoon.
When I made the comment about your picture, not at the time the connection with the purchase of the filter, in addition to my ignorance of it.
After seeing the picture as an example of what kind of photo you want and read about the filter, I can now see your joy and I apologize if I hurt you with my comment but this was not my intention.
Have a nice weekend end with good and optimal clicks.

I'm sure you've read all of this before but if not it might help:

"An alternative method of DSLR infrared photography is to remove the infrared blocker in front of the charge-coupled device and replace it with a filter that removes visible light. This filter is behind the mirror, so the camera can be used normally - handheld, normal shutter speeds, normal composition through the viewfinder, and focus, all work like a normal camera. Metering works but is not always accurate because of the difference between visible and infrared reflection. When the IR blocker is removed, many lenses which did display a hotspot cease to do so, and become perfectly usable for infrared photography. Additionally, because the red, green and blue micro-filters remain and have transmissions not only in their respective color but also in the infrared, enhanced infrared color may be recorded."

@palapala not bad intentions were taken. I really love the critisism of my fellow @75ers. They're constructive and for the most part keep me inspired. This is why I love 75.co.za. Long whiney story short...thanks and I'll keep trying :)

@Uno yeah, I saw a number of posts about this. However there are two problems:
    a. I don't know anywhere in SA that'll do the conversion of my SLR. I had to import my filter from the States so getting a proper IR conversion done in SA is...unlikely :)
    b. I don't have a spare SLR I'm willing to sacrifice :)
