Yep, just when I thought everything was okay, I done find out that, things are not as good as they should be.
That made me think quite hard about this and other grow(n). projects. Whilst I was returning back from Randburg, in a Taxi (mini-bus) that was more likely to kill me quicker than a packet of cigarettes a day, I wanted to give up and close down shop.
See, I can't truly afford the good-ish (as in servers), so I do my best to get the most affordable and convenient setup, it's not perfect, but when it falls apart, it truly does.
So, as I was saying, in that cab, I asked myself, what is the point?
I could not find an answer, but found humility, and realised another cliché,
Bad things happen.
I am taking that in stride. I truly would like to apologise for the 'disappearing' of the server, but to be honest, I am not very apologetic, I am more angry that it happened.
You know when you run out of liquor at 3am in the morning, but you and your people want to drink more, but there's nothing you can do, all you can think of is why didn't we get more beers?
That is how I feel,
mara,
one day, one day.

i thankful you manage to bring it back online...was lost without 75...
anything we can do to help?
I think you are already doing something, giving me reason and resolve to keep going at it. (i know is sounds like cliched PR response).
But, I am dead sure, that day when we have the ice+blok 3.0, we will be setting up some good things to do.
The camera relieves us of the burden of memory. It surveys us like God, and it surveys for us. Yet no other god has been so cynical, for the camera records in order to forget. - John Berger
Ld. You cynical God. Lets get together and talk servers...
